The Narcissistic Smear Campaign

Right/Wrong, Good/Bad, Hero/Victim - these are rooted in 3D duality. When you leave the orbit of a narcissist, they desperately need to be perceived as right, good, & as a victim. They will engage the drama triangle (hero, persecutor, victim) to avoid feeling their trapped trauma.

If you confided in them in the past, they may use the info to turn people against you. Because they don’t have a sense of self because of their own trauma/karma, they need external validation. They need to be seen as the hero in their story who has been victimized by you. Why else would you no longer be in their orbit?

They need you to be a supporting character in their story, a planet that orbits around their sun. You are then a consistent source of narcissistic supply & energy.

They often begin a smear campaign so they can uphold their illusion of perfection that they worked so tirelessly to uphold.

The smear campaign will be especially aggressive when you decide to end the relationship with the narcissist before they are ready to part with you.

If you have experienced being the target of a smear campaign, please know that our intentions behind our actions create our karma. If people believe them, & decide to “choose sides”, let them go. If it’s meant to be, they will see the truth and come back. During this time of shift to 5D, we are splitting realities where you will be transcending your 3D reality because you continue to take responsibility to heal your own triggers, heal your trauma & karma, & raise your vibration. Forgive them. Forgive yourself.

If you felt you needed to use tactics such as ghosting, blocking, or no contact because you felt you needed to for your own emotional & mental well-being, please don’t beat yourself up. Even though these types of behaviors are typically attributed to narcissists, & triggered them to feel pain, your intention was to protect, not hurt. You did your best. Thank their souls for the lessons they brought to you to heal & learn.
