Expectation vs Reality
We will never be done healing & learning. As long as we are incarnated, our soul will line up lessons for us. Our soul purpose is to learn.
Things aren’t supposed to be always “love and light”. We came into this world to experience contrast & lessons, the dark & the light. We experience duality to heal & through our learning to be able to get to true neutrality & unconditional love & acceptance. You can’t just jump past your pain & negative emotions to feel “love & light”. You are avoiding your feelings & dissociating from your body when you do. True healing comes from embracing the negative emotions & truly processing the experiences so you can learn why you are subconsciously creating these experiences. Your trapped trauma acts as a 24/7 subconscious magnet for the law of attraction.
Letting go of attachment of how the healing journey “should be” is the key to not getting so frustrated & angry at the world or at yourself because you haven’t healed yet.
Our souls lined up our soul lessons. Let go of trying to be perfect & completely healed. Accept that because we are human, we are divinely imperfect & in state of healing. Healing is really learning.
Having attachment to only experiencing love & light leads to suffering. When you get triggered or experience something that you wish would never happen again, breathe into your body & feel where in your body your trapped trauma & karma resides. This pain/discomfort is they key to tuning into your soul lessons. As you remember your past traumatic experiences in this life & previous lives, you will notice soul patterns emerge. As you trace back to your memories, it may not seem related to your present day trigger- trust that it is.
Examples of soul patterns are: giving up your power, being scared to speak your truth, feeling trapped, being scared to step into your power, fear of abandonment, powerlessness, helplessness, unworthiness, & being persecuted/bullied.
Understanding this helps you to have fun with the soul lessons & not take yourself so seriously.
Happy Healing!
