Understanding these 4 categories of boundaries can help you consistently set and maintain healthy boundaries.
Maintaining healthy boundaries is key to having the energy and time to be able to focus on manifesting your desired reality.
The more you prioritize self care and your boundaries, the more energy and resources you have to share with others. When your cup runneth over, you can help more people than you could if you are exhausted and drained.
4 categories of boundaries:
1. Physical: Our body, our home, our belongings
2. Emotional: Our feelings and our beliefs
3. Energetic: We have an energetic body, with an aura that extends beyond our physical body
4. Time: Time is a precious resource and how we prioritize our time helps us protect not only our time, but the other 3 boundary categories.
The boundary that is the most difficult to understand and maintain is the energetic boundary. If we tune into our intuition and body, we can feel other people’s energies, thoughts, emotions penetrate our energetic space. If we are empathic and worried about what others think because we are codependent, we draw other people’s energies within our energetic boundaries. Healing our emotional trauma from this and past lives helps us to feel safe and secure and as a result we can develop natural energetic boundaries. We no longer have the hyper-vigilant need to scan our environment for danger, which ends up allowing other people’s energy into our energy space.
